Pause; Don’t Stop
the punctuation mark ( ; ) used to indicate a pause intermediate in value or length between that of a comma and that of a full stop
Collins English Dictionary (c.2012)
Our Semicolon Line embraces the idea of the semicolon in suicide prevention. A writer uses a semicolon when there are still more words to write; You can use the semicolon as a reminder that there is still more to life to live.
The semicolon has also been used to indicate continuing to live specifically through the loss of someone to suicide. TreasureLives expands that interpretation to include surviving one’s own suicidal ideation, suicide attempt, or any past or present trauma or hardship. Wearing or displaying the semicolon is a promise to yourself and others to “Pause; not Stop” in times of darkness; dawn will come and share its light.
All of our semicolon products are made of aluminum. They are hand stamped and colored by our very own artists. – Coming Soon! Our Sem;colon Surv;vor Line!
